A very unusual French vintage wall hanging crucifix. The cross itself is made of hammered pewter, which is a very soft metal. The body of Christ is made of a harder silver metal and the design of the figure is very naive with a simple form. The nails are made of a different metal with a brown hue, note how prominent these are on the hands and feet.
It is unmarked but it feels like a work of art, there is something extraordinary in this crucifix.
