A beautiful cross of Italian micro coloured glass mosaic design, handmade and set into a brass frame. It is intricate and delicate and the colour is vibrant with tiny blue flowers and pink and blue detail.
It is difficult to identify the exact date as these designs have been made since the 18th century, much of a similar design throughout in keeping to a traditional style.
These pieces were popular as souvenirs in the Grand Tour era.
