Antique French ironstone ceramic hot plate trivet made by Choisy Le Roi. The front is decorated with these beautiful Dahlia flowers. The edges of the trivet form a pretty decorated frame.
These are great centre pieces for the dining table as well as protecting the table from any hot pans. Good in the morning for the coffee pot with a basket of fresh croissants nearby.
The condition is good, without chips or cracks. There is some wear to the glaze on the image and the edges can be a little scuffed. Please look closely at all photos.
