Antique French ironstone small plate with still life and bird detail. This was a plate once stocked and sold from the Parisian department store The Samaritaine. The EC initials represent Ernest Cognacq the founder of this iconic store.
It would look perfect on a plate rail of other perfectly imperfect plates.
The condition is commensurate with its age, there is the obvious crack in the plate and tea staining is present. Please look at all photos closely.
